Alicia Fredericksen

I am a first year Master’s student in the Marriage and Family Counseling program. I love working with children, and passionately believe that the best way to help them is to work with the family system as a whole.

Some of my specific interests include the challenges of military families, students at risk for depression and suicide, and LGBT issues.

I love history and literature, and would probably spend all of my time getting lost in the pages of a book if “real life” didn’t get in the way.

I earned my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from VCU in 2012.
